Does it actually work?

What is it with church leaders saying over and over again that we have to make sure new converts “get to the temple” so that they’ll stay active in the church? I mean, i’ve known plenty of inactive endowed members…

I think if they keep going regularly they will stay active. Just getting there, no. I think people often forget that the temple isn't the finish line. And let's be honest. Some people are kind of freaked out by the temple and if they aren't ready, getting them there is the worst thing possible as far as activity goes.
