Things being a parent teaches you

Anyone who believes that calmly, rationally discussing church meeting behavior with your children will lead to them behaving better needs to stop feeding their children so much Benadryl right before church.

Benadryl has never done anything but get rid of allergy issues in my kids. Or at least the two who have ever had Benadryl (Ani has taken it occasionally; Fritz was on it quite regularly - prescribed by the doctor - for over 1 1/2 years). No hyperness, no drowsiness. Of course one of my friends used to use Benadryl on her daughter (Fritz's age) on the train to and from her parents' house. Worked great - made her sleep - until that fateful time when it made the kid INSANE!
