On the picking on hymns train of thought - are the hymns in German much harder to sing than in English? Romanian doesn't fit so well with the LDS hymn melody lines.
@Butter: Well, you have to admit that Mormon music is a remarkably easy target. Not as easy as the emo scene, of course, but still…
@Michelle: German and English are really closely related, so a lot of the stuff translates well. The word order is weird in German sometimes, and "Ich bin ein Kind des Herrn" ("I Am a Child of God") really doesn't flow, but it usually works reasonably well. (And some of them—not coincidentally, the more martial-sounding ones—sometimes sound better in German than English, IMO.
